Stoney Road Studios is owned and run by award winning artist and producer Brian Houston. Established in 1983 but laying derelict for a decade Brian and his wife Pauline took possession and renovated the studio in August 2020.
Stoney Road is the only residential studio in Belfast, Northern Ireland with full live tracking and drum rooms, a pro-level recording facility available for hire to all our existing and new clients.
The bespoke sound recording studio is equipped with Protools, top of the line mic preamps, Neumann, AKG, Shure and SE professional microphones, Roland Yamaha and Moog digital keyboards.
Additionally we have a Beautiful Beckstein upright piano, Ludwig and Gretsch drums as well as a range of vintage Gibson and Fender guitars plus an exclusive selection of some of the worlds most iconic guitar amps. All included in the very competitive price.

Stoney Road Studios offer a complete service package including recording facilities, sound engineer and file output to your preferred format. We also offer a wide range of VO artists and an extensive licensed stock music library or custom written songs for your project.
